The hotel alphubel is super convenient, just a short walk from the train station and right near the main shopping area. Our room had a large balcony with fine views, a great surprise! The staff was attentive, and breakfast had good options.

Location: particularly good and unbeatable, so close to Matterhorn and the main shopping street and the train station as well as all the sightseeings. Great food for breakfast in the dining room. Pleasant, affable staff towards all guests.

We enjoyed hiking around the picturesque Zermatt and the Sunnegga Funicular was a hit with the girls. Our spacious triple room was clean, and we loved sipping coffee on the balcony while taking in the lovely mountain views.

My kids wished for air conditioning during our warm stay.

We had a spacious family room with a great balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee while taking in the views. The location is convenient, just minutes from the train station without any hills to navigate. The room is spacious, warm, and impeccably clean, with a unique charm that feels authentic rather than dated. Breakfast was somewhat limited but adequate. great location

Solo traveler convenience

The location is great, literally just 3 mins from the train station. The staff helped me out when I need it, I even got a late check-out which was lifesaver on my schedule.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but still acceptable for what you get.
